Real Orlando Wedding: Grand Bohemian Orlando

Meet our amazing couple Michael & Alysse! They were hilariously funny, committed to one another, their faith and their families. We were introduced to them by another Joie de Vie Couple, Norman & Tahnee. We helped them design and create a wedding day that was a reflective of the 'God in them'.

We loved the hand written notes they wrote to one another before the wedding. Their words were truly tear jerkers for the whole wedding professional team. Rain calls had to be made and we gambled on no rain (after reading 4 different dopplers and a meeting with our awesome catering manager at the hotel). Alysse is an amazing author and recruiter. Michael is a retired NFL player (super-bowl winning retired player).

Alysse's Martina Liana gown was a splendid array of details, sheer elements and a sexy silhouette.

We love first looks! An opportunity to take a deep breath and actually be with one another for a moment before the day begins.

The Joie de Vie Bride is always fashion forward! Alysse let her bridesmaids pick their favorite black formal gown for the wedding. Each young lady had the opportunity to express their personal style in their choice. All were STUNNING!

Michael and the men in his party wore very traditional tuxedos. Mike's white jacket from www.blacktux.com was the perfect compliment to allow him to stand out amongst this handsome group of men.

We created custom greenery walls and monograms for the ceremony. These walls played double duty at the reception as well.

We love how the couple honored loved ones who were no longer with them. This memorial table was a subtle and nice display in the cocktail are.

Father daughter dances are truly one of our favorites. No matter what you have accomplished, what heights you reach... you will and always be daddy's little girl. There is never a father/daughter dance that doesn't have this moment: the bride burying her face into her father's neck. ... always!

Mom's do the same thing with their sons! :)

This second greenery wall had all of the escort cards and later a backdrop for selfies and photos.

Instead of a traditional cake, the couple opted for a dessert bar. They had amazing desserts from pound cakes to shooters.

The greenery wall from ceremony played double duty at reception. The ampersand was replaced with C (last name) to represent them now being married. The bride repurposed the monogram in their new home.
